This does not have to be different for all projects but all projects will need thread Sew on Velcro for doll clothes – not the stick on kind (you might wait on this and see if they need this later in the week) Scissors, pins, needle and thimble, extra sewing machine needles and basic sewing notions Fat quarter (18 by 22 inches) for a purse tissue holder and a zipper bag Pocket package of tissue 7 inch zipper to match or contrast with the fat quarter 1 yard of fabric for a skirt for girl and doll Thread to match You will need elastic for this and the PJs Pajama pattern ---- Simplicity 3669 might work --- find one for her size that says EASY. We will not be making pockets. We will use elastic for the waist. The pattern must be for cotton fabric and NOT knit. *Please mark the size and if you want long pants, capris or shorts. Look on the back for the amount of fabric needed for that size. You should need cotton fabric, elastic and thread. Plain dish towel or hand towel for an apron. A border print on each end will leave one upside down. 8 feet or ribbon (usually cheaper to buy this by the roll) ½ yard of fleece for the doll a nightie, robe, slippers and sleeping mask (you might match this to the PJ pants) Ribbon for the robe tie --- what is left from the apron might be enough ½ yard of cotton fabric for a pajama pillow (a place to store the PJs during the day) I will provide patterns for extra doll clothes. ½ to1 yard of each of 2 different fabrics would be nice so the blouse and pants or skirt will be different. Depending on their sewing speed they may not need this. **Please do not send knit fabrics only cotton fabrics that have been washed and ironed. No one way fabrics – the fabric should look fine in any direction. It is helpful to label the fabric so we will all know which fabric is for which project so there will be enough fabric.
