  • Why do you wish to do it?
  • Who is going to do it? (Officer selection)
  • What will narcotics interdiction lead you to?
     
    Priorities: 
  • Safety 
  • Proactive vs. Reactive Policing 
  • Reduction of drug flow into and out of your jurisdiction. 
  • Reduce criminal activity associated with narcotics
 Who should attend?
  • officers involved narcotics recovery
  • canine narcotics handlers
  • supervisors of drug units
