This extraordinary course will entertain you as you learn of events and personalities that led to the development of the Shoals area. You will thoroughly enjoy this popular class as you view films, slides and have lively discussions. The class includes such topics as early Indian cultures; early settlers; the founding of Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals; historic personalities including outlaws through the antebellum period. Two optional field trips are available.
