Beginner Bolero

This is a beginner’s class in American style Bolero. Bolero is Latin in origin, similar to Rumba, but slower in tempo.  This dance is quite different from the other American Rhythm dances in that it not only incorporates Cuban motion and contra body movement but also rises and falls as is done in waltz. Bolero is an irresistible dance for when the music slows down.  Popular music for this dance style need not be Latin in origin, which makes Bolero an option at most every dance.
